be done with high-pressure water and then the coating must be reapplied
to restore protection. Two coats are recommended for porous surfaces.

Concrete 150-300
Painted 300-500
Block 75-100
Order SC101
Q:
What's the difference between Anti-Graffitiant and Sacrificial?
A: Anti-Graffitiant Soaks into the surface and prevents graffiti
from penetrating. There is a slight darkening that makes the surface
appear wet. Sacrificial is wax based which allows you to power wash
the graffiti off. The barrier is also removed and will need to be
reapplied. Great for Painted Surfaces.

paint on the wood and keep it it's natural color, you will have

Latex Paint vesus Oil Paint
Q: How do I know if my paint is Latex paint and not Oil Paint?
A: There are a number of ways to determine if your paint
is latex or oil based. Take denatured alcohol or Liquid Sandpaper
and rub it on latex and some paint will be removed and the surface
will get tacky/sticky -- but on oil it won't take off paint or get
tacky. Also, latex paint will mark easily with a silver coin, oil
paint will be harder to mark. Latex paint will soften with a solvent
like lacquer thinner or Goof Offas well. Latex paint will probably
not be as smooth; brush marks or roller stipple will be more evident.
Latex paint may scratch off easier or even chip off, it will also
soften in high humidity.
If you are planning to repaint and the initial coat of paint is oil based, you can use Peel Away® 1. Be sure to use Peel Away® Neutralizer after you are done so that the next coat of paint will adhere properly.
Lead/Oil
Based Paint
Peel
Away® 1 will remove lead/oil based paint from the following: Plaster,
concrete, brass, copper, brick, steel, cast iron, fiberglass, stucco,
wood, marble, T-111 siding. When using the Peel Away® 1 on wood,
it will raise the grain and discolor the wood. If you are going
to repaint the wood, you can use the Peel Away® 1 product. After
using the Peel Away® 1, you have to neutralize the surface. Peel
Away® 7 will remove lead/oil based paint from wood, brick, stone,
plaster, metal, fiberglass, graphite and steel. If you are removing
lead/oil based paint from wood and want to keep the wood it's natural
color without harming the wood, Peel Away® 7 or Smart Strip® is the product to use.

Peel Away® 1
Peel
Away® 1 is an environmentally safe method of removing up to 32 layers
of paint. Average coverage per gallon is 18-25 sq ft. It is especially
suited for removal of lead based paints and restoration of old historic
buildings. Do not use on wood unless you are repainting the surface.
You must neutralize when using the Peel Away® 1. Can't be used on
drywall or aluminum.
Peel
Away® 1 is a paste that is spread on the surface, then covered with
the Peel Away® Paper to control evaporation, after your pre-determined
dwell time, the paper is then removed with the bulk of the paste
and paint by using a putty knife or trowel to lift the paint, paste
and paper. You must then wash and neutralize the surface. Failure
to properly clean and neutralize the surface will result in an alkaline
residue that may cause an unsightly white haze. The alkaline residue
may also interfere with the performance of clear sealers or future
paint coatings. Let the surface dry for 24 hours before neutralizing,
both interior and exterior.
If
you are repainting the surface after using Peel Away® 1, it is recommended
that you use a 100% acrylic based primer, not an oil based. Peel
Away® 7 is alright to use an oil-based primer after removal. Order

Peel
Away® 7 is an environmentally safe paint remover used to remove latex
and oil paint. It is stronger than the Peel Away® 6, especially at
removing oil/lead based paint from wood to be kept natural after
stripping. It can be used indoors and outdoors, is highly recommended
for exterior cedar or redwood shakes because it creates no moisture
on the surface being stripped.
Average
coverage per gallon is 30-40 sq ft. Can use an oil based primer
after removal with Peel Away® 7 or Smart Strip®. Adheres both vertically and horizontally.
Ideal for carved and molded surfaces. Dwell time varies according
to the number of layers being removed and environmental conditions
such as temperature, humidity, sunlight, etc. We recommend you test
a couple of areas first to determine the appropriate dwell time
for your conditions. If you are working outdoors, and working with
a large area, we recommend covering the Peel Away® 7 or Smart Strip® with a sheet
of plastic to prevent the product from drying out too quickly and
decreasing the dwell time and effectiveness of the product. It should
also be protected from direct sunlight.
